Day 37: Rest Up

Two solid days of rest in Virginia. I am feeling so much better.

Saturday I woke up and headed to pick up my care packages.

It felt like Christmas opening these packages. One was from my interpreting training program group of friends and one was sent from my  grandma.

Both were filled with so many goodies I didn’t even know what to do with. I was SO EXCITED!! I additionally had sent my own package too so I was fortunate enough to fill my food bag and bounce a box to the next town.

From the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much you guys. The support from everyone back home is unreal. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing I have people in my corner rooting for me. ❤️❤️❤️

I spent Saturday eating good food (Too much food) and doing errands like laundry and getting stuff to combat my cold, and fix ozzy’s eye. Planner, Logjam, Yak and I all headed to a town near by and split a hotel room. We decided we wanted our own space and a bed to lay in and a TV to relax to.

So we have spent Saturday and today exploring the town and being lazy. 😁

Oh, and in the resupply box I was given from my ITP friend that put some fake tattoos to use for motivation…So we all took part.. They were perfect. 😁

They are awesome.

I’m hoping for another good nights rest and ready to head back to the trail this week.

I’m excited for what is to come!! Almost one fourth of the way done!!

Much love to you all.
